I found out why Dre skips. He told me by the lockers not even in detention. His mum works two jobs and his little sister cant get herself to school so he walks her, and the walk makes him late, and being late enough is the same as skipping apparently. He shrugged when he told me like it was nothing. It was not nothing. I didnt know what to say so I said your sister is lucky and he looked at me weird and then said yeah okay.
